S2 ™ is produced as per standard EN 14683.
It is designed to prevent the wearer from spreading droplets in the vicinity. It also protects the wearer from droplets produced by a person directly in front of them. However, depending on the circumstances, it does not protect from inhaling the very small particles suspended in the air that potentially carry the virus.
S2 ™ is certified as "EN14683:2019 Type IIR."

S2 ™ Filters are independently tested by SGS Labs & Nelson Labs to ensure we meet the same filtration standards as FFP3 & N99 Mask models.
FFP3 & N99 Filtration refers to filtering 99% of airborne particles larger than 0.06 micron.
S2 Filters match these filtration standards.
Filters should be disposed of daily.
Microwave: All parts of S2 ™ Mask are safe to go into microwave. Put mask, strap, silicone valve, valve cap and filter frame into a bowl full of water and microwave them for 2-3 minutes.
Dishwasher: Likewise microwave sterilizing, all parts of S2 Mask are safe to go into the dishwasher.
Boiling: We advise that you take the straps out when boil-sterilizing your mask and parts. The strap clip will melt when it touches the pan.
Rubbing Alcohol: One of the easiest and most common methods of sterilizing medical grade silicone. Alcohol cleaning will kill off any bacteria that may be present, as well as dust or particles.
Disclaimer: Filters are not for sterilizing. They should be changed every after use.
To ensure you always have the necessary protection, have at least one extra filter at all times.

Use a piece of string or a ruler to measure the distance between the tip of your nose and the point of your chin. Make sure not to measure under the chin as the S2 Mask is not designed to always wrap below the chin.
Ensure that your nose to chin measurement is within the range shown on the table above. If you are outside the range, we encourage you to sign up to be notified when new sizes are available.

You can return your order within 30 days of receiving it. If you received items from one order in several parcels, the 30-days return period begins on the day you received the last parcel.

2. Provide our Customer Service team your order details and reason for returns
3. Print out your return form(s) that will be provided by our Customer Service team via email.
4. Insert your return form into the return parcel, then seal the parcel.
5. Proceed to the nearest post office or carrier that offers tracking service to post back your returns.
6. Take note of the tracking number stated on the shipping label provided by the postal service. Inform us of the return tracking number by email
7. MoD reserves the right to withhold any refunds if your original item has not reached our warehouse.
Your refund will be processed as soon as the product you have returned is inspected by our quality assurance team and it is confirmed that it fits within our returns policy. This quality check can take up to 3 weeks, though generally less.
Once the return has been approved, it takes 1-2 days for the refund to be made by MoD online store to your payment services provider (for example your credit card supplier). Please note that the time taken for a payment services provider to provide you with your refund can vary depending upon the provider.

Before we can start processing your refund, we need to make sure that your returned products meet our return’s condition
As long as your product(s) meet the above criteria, we can reimburse your purchase price. If your returned product(s) don’t meet the criteria above, we cannot accept the items and unfortunately won’t be able to give you a refund.
We will refund the full purchase price of the relevant product(s) returned to us excluding shipping charges (if any).
We may refund shipping costs only for some return cases, example – MoD delivery wrong item, item damage due to production process.
We are unable to exchange the products you ordered online and had delivered to your preferred delivery address. However, you can return unwanted products for a refund and then place a new order.
